at least it is just not me,but have spent 3 days now trying to complete my installation of itunes 9.have had ipod since 2004 and NEVER had a problem with upgrading itunes EVER.until now.
i can download fine but when installation is nearly complete,i get error message telling me that "D:\Acknowledgments.rtf is open and is exclusively in use elsewhere"
what the **** is this all about ?
i have tracked this to an adobe issue and cannot delete the file in drive D acknowledgements.rtf.
but why is this an issue now it has never been before.so i cannot finish my installation of the new itunes 9 and cannot reverse back to version 8.i am using vista sp1 and 2(just come out)i have cleaned p/c using uniblue registry booster and still will not install.
help i am not now able to use my ipod at all so what do we all do now.come on apple it would seem to all lie at your door.if itunes 9 is useless then let us opt back for the earlier version hey !!!!!
