Everytime I try to install itunes I get the following message:
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a a problem with this package. The error code is 2356."
However after I click ok, the installer continues to run and itunes appears to install perfectly. (I've never had any problems with it other than this one.)
The only reason it is an issue, is i'm pretty sure this problem is why my iphone won't upgrade/restore and gets stuck in recovery mode.
I've tried installing quicktime seperately, following the apple troubleshoot docs, uninstalling and wiping every trace of itunes from my computer but I still get this message. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Apple is apparently in denial. I have this issue. I have been working in the computer indusry fo more than twenty years. I have uninstalled everything followed the directins to verify. Cleaned the registry and still get this error (2356). I am less than happy with Apple. Now i have a lot of music I can't play that I paid for. I have tried converters, but they cut the end of the song off. Apple needs to remidy this asap. or start refunding money for songs paid for! This occured with the last upgrade.
